Massachusetts Dermatology Associates (MassDerm) is hiring for a Medical Receptionist Position:
Our clinic, located at Cummings Center in Beverly, MA, provides the full spectrum of dermatologic care. Medical Receptionist responsibilities will include greeting and registering patients and performing patient check-in and check-out duties. There will also be telephone correspondence with patients, referring physicians, and businesses. In addition, we request assistance with a variety of other administrative responsibilities which will include billing, claims management, schedule coordination, database management, and other computer-based tasks.
Receptionist Required Experience:
– Bachelor’s degree with GPA of 3.0 or higher
-No receptionist experience required. Training provided on-site.
– Customer service skills demonstrated by prior work in food services, retail, or customer assistance work are preferred (but not required).
– Applicants who have demonstrated previous job loyalty are preferred.
Receptionist Educational Requirements:
– Excellent written English skills.
-Computing skills including facility with Microsoft Word and Excel or Google Docs and Google Sheets
Receptionist Expectations:
-Professional and warm demeanor
-Energetic, eager to learn
-Ability to work efficiently as part of a team
-Ability to learn our electronic medical record, practice management software, and other computer-based tasks
-Ready for both structured and self-directed learning
