As our next Full Stack Engineer, you should have relevant experience with front-end and back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries.

You should have a passion for building tools and automating complex workflows and have relevant experience with a solid software engineering background.

• Work hand in hand with our CTO on various internal projects related to the growth of Mastermind.com’s infrastructure, marketing technologies, and affiliate programs
• Be willing to take complete, end-to-end ownership of projects across the entire stack
• Able to build various products across the stack and skilled in frameworks, APIs, databases, and multiple back-end languages.
• This Full Stack Developer position is an on-site position based in Arizona. You will work from the Mastermind headquarters in Scottsdale, AZ.
• Our compensation model is based on experience and will be between $80,000 to $110,000 annually.

Responsibilities:

• Work with development teams and product managers to ideate software solutions
• Develop front-end website architecture and design user interactions on web pages
• Develop and design RESTful API services in adherence to best practices and standards
• Maintain quality and ensure responsiveness of applications
• Develop back-end website applications and create servers and databases for functionality
• Able to monitor performance and optimize queries to ensure exceptional user experience
• Ensure that non-functional requirements such as security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability are being considered when architecting solutions
• Stay knowledgeable of developments in web applications and programming languages
• Test software to ensure responsiveness and efficiency
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade software
• Start and complete projects from conception to finished product
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer engineering or related field, or equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities in software preferred
• 5+ years of technical full-stack development experience
• 3+ years of experience building and maintaining production databases and projects
• Knowledge of Tailwinds, jquery (nice-to-have)
• Understand sprints (SCRUM) and waterfalls
• Proficiency with front-end languages such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Familiarity with the following tech stack: React.js, Node.js, JavaScript, MySQL, Git
• Deep knowledge and experience in designing and maintaining MySQL
• Ability to discern user requirements and develop specifications
• Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Follow through each project to completion
• Enjoy working and love to help people, working well independently or in groups
• Great attention to detail and organizational skills
• Experience with Agile methodology
• Must be able to complete a technical assessment that will test React.js, Node.js, and Javascript proficiency
