Mattel Hiring for Facilities Maintenance Technician $24/hr at DeForest, WI Full Time

The Team: The Facilities Maintenance Technician position is part of the American Girl DeForest and Middleton Facilities team.

The Opportunity: The American Girl DeForest distribution center is seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician for a 40-hour/week, short-term position (through August 2022). This position will travel between the American Girl Middeton and DeForest locations and will utilize basic maintenance skills to help with disassembly and reassembly.

What Your Impact Will Be:

• General building maintenance activities including hanging artwork, painting, entry level maintenance, cleaning, cubicle builds and teardown, and basic repairs.
• Entry level support of conveyor system and shipping support equipment. React to jam conditions with the conveyor sortation system and record issues in the log.
• Safely operate packing peanut extruder and the proper operation of the loose fill system with support.
• Follow and maintain all Mattel and OSHA safety standards and regulations.
• Able to concept and complete moderate level projects independently or with little support, such as plumbing, building structures, etc.
• Assist on higher complex projects with support and oversight, such as mechanical, conveyor, and similar complex projects.
• Provide support to other facilities departments as needed.

What We’re Looking For:

• Facilities and/or maintenance experience of one year, preferred.
• Ability to provide high level customer service and consistent quality work.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a safe working environment.
• Aptitude to deal with constant change, revisions, and schedules.
• Complete assigned projects in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
