This is a position in which you will travel 85% of the time (all company paid, you keep all airline miles, hotel and rental car points) and be on site in a 10 day on, 4 day off format. Matthews will fly you home for your off days or fly out your significant other if you wish. Your priority will be programming our PLC’s that control conveyor systems and robotics within the customer’s DC and warehouse. You will have full company support both on site and remotely to accomplish your work. If you wish to sleep in your own bed regularly DO NOT APPLY!Employs technical knowledge to support our customer service group.QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTSBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience2+ years previous engineering experience required. Experience in material handling/conveyor controls is preferred.Understanding of electrical designs and concepts, including networking, drives, PLC and I/O.
