About The Role Max People is seeking dedicated Site Labourers to assist in ensuring the smooth progression of construction projects in Christchurch. By engaging in various tasks and maintaining a safe and productive environment, you’ll be instrumental to project success.
Salary: $23 – $24.50 per hour
Location: Christchurch

What You Will Be Doing
- Site Prep: Help in getting the construction site ready, which includes clearing debris, setting up workspaces, and ensuring safety measures are in check.
- Handling Materials: Move and handle construction materials, tools, and equipment as needed across the site.
- Excavation: Take part in digging tasks, like trenches and foundations, using the right tools.
- Concrete Tasks: Help with concrete-related work, from mixing to pouring and finishing.
- Assisting Tradespeople: Support tradespeople to ensure projects move along smoothly.
- Equipment Care: Take care of routine maintenance and cleaning of tools and equipment to ensure they’re ready for use.
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus.
- A strong work ethic with a focus on safety.
- Physical fitness for manual tasks.
- A team player who can follow instructions well.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Proactive and detail-oriented approach to work.
- Site safe required.
- Driver’s licence and transport are essential.
