Maxim Healthcare Services Hiring for Overnight Caregiver at Oceanside, California Full Time

Type: Full time

Compensation: Starting $18-20/HR DOE

The Overnight Caregiver will provide assistance to a variety of patients IN-HOME care setting. This could include assistance with Personal Care, Showering/Bathing, Companion Care, etc.

Duties and Responsibilities:

*Duties and Responsibilities varies on the case-by-case basis

• Be responsible for basic care services such as bathing, grooming and feeding, light house keeping, and grocery shopping.

• Ability to coordinate schedules with multiple clients

• Giving patients important social and emotional support.

• Medication reminders.

• Drive to different locations in San Diego.

• Maintains confidentiality of all client information, in accordance with HIPAA standards

• Safeguards the client/patient by observing appropriate infection control procedures including but not limited to universal precautions

• Notifies the office of any abnormal findings or conditions

• Adheres to Caregiver standards and procedures of the Company

• Represents the Company with a positive image at all times

• Demonstrates flexibility and adaptability in meeting the needs of all facilities

• Effectively communicates with the office staff, including availability to work

• Adheres to time and attendance policies

• Provides requirements-related information (Annual PPD, In-services, etc.) in a timely fashion; follows all other compliance standards at all times

Requirements:

• At least one year working as a caregiver

• Current First Aid and CPR certification

• TB Test

• Home Care Aide (HCA)

• Reliable transportation

• Part time or full time schedule available

• Experience with Elderly/Children with Disabilities

• WEEKENDS REQUIRED
