Maxim Healthcare Services Hiring for Private Duty RN at Rockford, Illinois Full Time

Maxim Healthcare Services is actively hiring for a Registered Nurse (RN) to assume responsibility and accountability for the application of the nursing process and deliver of patient care for a Pediatric patient in the Loves Park, IL area. The Registered Nurse (RN) demonstrates the ability to make clinical judgements in an effective and efficient manner under the direction of the Director of Clinical Services.

A Private Duty Nurse focuses all of their skills and attention on a single patient, ranging in age and acuity level. All Private Duty Nurses work under the supervision of an RN Clinical Supervisor. The Private Duty Nurse will consistently perform according to nursing standards and is accountable in managing patient care and assisting others in the management of patient care.

Shifts Available:

· Full-time: Day shift

· Tuesday-Friday: 8am-4pm

Job Responsibilities:

Care Needs: Central Line / TPN / G-tube

· Perform duties outlined in patient’s plan of care

· Administer medications

· Report and document any changes

· Communicate effectively with the patient, caregivers, external nursing staff, and the patient’s Clinical Supervisor

Qualifications:

· Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state in which the Nurse practices

· Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

· Current BLS card

· One year prior Nurse (RN/LPN) experience preferred
