Maxxis International USA, a leader in the high performance tire industry, has an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Accounts Receivable Specialist for our Finance Department in Suwanee, GA. Responsibilities:

• Communicate proactively with customers to resolve disputes and collect past due amounts.

• Research and process customer discrepancies. This may include customer documentation review, local ERP research of disputed amounts, cross-functional teamwork with team members, and discussions with management.
• Work collaboratively with Accounting Department to meet company goals
• Release credit blocks by examining customer payment plans, payment history, credit line; coordinating contacts

• Support month end closing including the preparation of the general entry and monthly account statement
• Review accounts in a timely manner
• Prepare weekly updated reports
• Support and verify credit card payments
• Perform general office duties such as filing and handling routine correspondence
• Additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration required
• 1-2 years of accounting experience preferred but not required
• Experience working with SAP preferred but not required
