Position description
Serves as a casemanager for persons with mental health issues in a variety of settings. Responsibilities include working with other treatment agencies in the community on an ongoing basis to assist the client in achieving the highest degree of independence, dignity, safety and overall quality of life in a respectful and compassionate manner.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in social work or in human services related field prefered. Master’s degree preferred. At least 1 year working with individuals with mental health and/or substance abuse issues. For Gerard Hall positions experience with providing pre/post-natal support or parenting education preferred.

Additional qualifications

Broad knowledge of the mentally ill population. Skills: Effective communication and good listening skills. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality. Excellent documentation skills. Ability to work in a cooperative and team-like fashion.
