Position description
Responsible for driving the vision and strategy to support critical operations across CDH portfolio teams, leadership groups, non-CDH Mayo teams that are part of the matrixed organization and external vendors to deliver operational solutions that ensure the success of the Center for Digital Health. Represents the department by participating on institutional committees, task groups and external groups. Derives strategic operational frameworks to collaborate effectively on operational issues with internal CDH leaders and teams and outside teams and vendors. Assesses skills, structure and processes to deliver operational objectives, deploy valuable tools and procedures and establish clear partnerships between multiple stakeholder groups. Works with CDH leadership across the Product, DDA, Engineering and other non-CDH teams that are critical to the delivery of CDH products and services. Accountable to the success of a cross-functional team. Fosters an internal culture of positive teamwork and transparency that drives excellent service, quality, diversity of thought, and engaging work environment and overall continuous improvement mindset. Able to effectively communicate and translate an operations vision, strategy and design with process and technical engineering partners in order to optimize delivery of the desired results. Futuristic thinking. Ability to see trends and opportunities and to capitalize on them. Actively seeks to understand new and emerging operational needs and applies critical evaluation to seek and apply technical and procedural operational solutions, their capabilities, pros/cons and potential applicability to CDH (now & future). Capable of creative problem solving to create operational solutions that are simple, engaging and create value to the end users. Experience in design thinking methodologies. Proficient in guiding and leading complex operational and technical solutions teams. Lead critical alignment between key Center for Digital Health teams. Ensure delivery and adoption of high-value solutions in alignment with business goals and user experience optimization. Identifies, recruits/hires, and mentors high performing managers and related roles. Identifies, develops and implements policies and procedures to support strategic operations. Demonstrated ability to balance competing priorities while deploying operational change management requirements that maximize value. Fosters a culture of empowered teams via agile methodologies and servant leadership. Ability to establish deep partnerships with business stakeholders to ensure solutions achieve business requirements and aligns to other organizational strategies and priorities.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a degree in an unrelated field combined with additional suitable experience, Master’s Degree desirable.
7 years of experience with relevant management, strategic planning and/or operational planning, program development/consulting, project or portfolio management or business analytics. 5+ years of leadership experience, experience working with Executives desired.
Additional qualifications
Leadership experience (direct or indirect), Prior leadership role in operations management or equivalent role. Ability to derive strategic frameworks and to collaborate effectively on operations issues with internal business stakeholders, outside partners and technology teams/vendor solutions. Ability to assess skills, structure, and processes to delivery on our business objectives, deploy valuable operational solutions, and establish clear partnerships between multiple stakeholder groups. Experience leading operations teams.
