MCC Label Looking for Maintenance Technician at East Tamaki, Auckland, New Zealand Full Time

About the role

MCC Auckland seeks an experienced Maintenance Technician with a proven track record in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will adhere to safety regulations and promote a culture of continuous improvement.

• Provides effective emergency/unscheduled repairs to production equipment during production.
• Performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service in a multi-shift environment.
• Comprehensive Troubleshooting by conduct thorough mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of machines.
• Supports an optimised production environment by applying the principles of Lean Manufacturing and 5S.
• Machine installations and commissioning.
• Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

About You

• 5+ years of experience as a Printers/Maintenance Technician or similar role.
• Experience within the printing industry is advantageous, though not essential.
• A qualification within a mechanical engineering discipline.
• Requires strong problem-solving skills to assess product output relative to specifications.
• Must have ability to multi-task and to identify and execute process improvements as needed.
• Maintain a keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality in all tasks.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Self-motivated approach with a desire to succeed.
• The ability to work autonomously and manage tasks independently.
