It is an exciting time to join the McConnell Dowell Whānau as we continue to secure impressive projects across New Zealand and the Pacific Islands.
We are looking for an enthusiastic Construction Labourer to join our high performing team to deliver our Corbans Reserve Stormwater Upgrade Project.
About the role:
- Gain the skills and knowledge to work safely onsite and develop confidence in health and safety for yourself and others
- Develop confidence using tools and machinery
- Opportunity to work on projects around New Zealand
- General building works
- Helping other team members with all aspects of construction, pipe work and general labouring jobs.
- level ground, trenches and lay pipes or cables
- perp / pour and finish concrete
- install and uninstall scaffolding when required
- move equipment and materials
- clean up worksites.
About You
- You will need either NCEA Level 2 or completed the Level 2 Civil Infrastructure Works
- Current New Zealand Driver’s License
- You will need to be a good team player, reliable and work well in a team
- Have a good work ethic and great punctuality
- Have good time management skills
- Knowledge and understanding of site health & safety
- Have an interest in the construction industry
- Comfortable working in confined spaces or at heights
