What’s the opportunity?

This is a new role responsible for leading the delivery of our advisory, accounting, bookkeeping and software services, and to grow the capability of our team, increase client loyalty, build sustainable financial performance and support the achievement of our strategic goals and objectives.

As Operations Manager you will be an integral part of the leadership team and will work closely with your Team Managers to develop and optimise individual and team capability. Sourcing talent to meet current and future business needs will also be a focus. You will enhance workflow and service delivery as well as embed a culture of continuous improvement and efficient processes. Maintaining and developing policy, quality assurance and quality control measures to ensure we comply with industry and regulatory requirements is another important area of accountability.

What you’ll bring:

• A natural ability to develop effective relationships.
• Personally engaging and able to motivate others through strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to engage in highly technical discussions, as well as clearly communicating with non-technical business users.
• Outstanding problem-solving skills.
• Sound business acumen, including experience managing multiple budgets and undertaking financial planning.
• Knowledge of organisational effectiveness and operations management.
• Ability to understand and implement compliance and regulation legislation.
• Experience in senior leadership/operations management roles; ideally with skills leading leaders.

Preferably you will have worked in the financial services industry, but this is not essential.
