Must be open to adjusting shift.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Assist Operations Manager with planning, organizing and directing warehouse activities to ensure successful night shift operations.Assist with leading workers and Lead persons.Assist with maintaining a positive morale, work standards and developing teams.Assist with training and managing employee performanceAssertively seek solutions to problems at the root level.Ensure warehouse operations comply with federal, state, and local company policiesAssist with controlling expensesAssist with reducing employee turnoverAssist with reducing overtime working hoursEnsure warehouse equipment and vehicles are well maintained and that housekeeping meets company standards.Minimum Requirements3+ years operational experience including 2+ years managerial experienceCritical RequirementsExperience managing, leading and developing staffComputer proficiency in MS OfficeExcellent and effective business communication skills both verbally and in writingAbility to multi task in a fast paced environment and make strong business decisionsDemonstrated employee engagement skillsAdditional Knowledge & Skills4 year degree preferredIndustry experience in logistics, supply chain, warehouse, manufacturing or distribution environment preferredSkilled in interviewing, coaching, evaluation, discipline and record keepingExperience with DEA regulations a plusMS Access proficiency and ability to interpret and analyze data Education4-year degree or equivalent experiencePhysical RequirementsHigh energy distribution center environmentMay be required to work various shifts, including nights and days.Some overtime requiredMcKesson is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action employer.
