Pay range: $48,000] to $[83,000] annually.

ABOUT THE JOB:
The Division Buyer procures and manages inventory for the WaWa convenience stores that are served by McLane’s Carneys Point, NJ, distribution center. The Division Buyer utilizes various McLane systems, applications, and best practices to achieve the goals set forth for the department service level, DSII, overstocks, distributions, and inventory turns.

PREFERRED qualifications for this position include: purchasing or inventory management background; management and supervisory experience; sales experience.

Analyze sales and purchasing trends to identify, plan, and execute seasonal strategies and other changes in demand.

Review daily service level, DSII reporting, daily out reports, promotional tracking, and event calendar.

Review past due and unconfirmed purchase orders report; three-day time supply; warehouse receiving and inventory adjustments.

Assist with purchasing, online distributions, overstock resolution, and weekly filter trips.

Develop tools to monitor and improve supplier performance and asset management.

This position has additional responsibilities; special projects may be assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related major.

Distribution or wholesale background.

Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Access.
