LAB TECHNICIAN

THE COMPANY:

Our client is a chemical manufacturer with huge focus on the engineering and design behind their products. They are seeking a motivated individual to join their company as a LAB TECHNICIAN to work within their Research and Development Team.

· This position is a TEMP to HIRE role with optional benefits.

· The pay for this position ranges from $25-$26/hr.

· This role is located in La Porte, TX.

THE EXPECTATIONS:

The LAB TECHNICIAN must be able to:

· Work with chemicals required in manufacturing of plastics and rubbers

· Develop new testing methods to be implemented across R&D Team

· Resolve critical issues within samples to be implemented company-wide

· Testing new (or alternate) raw materials from new sources

· Accurately record all variables such as chemical type, amount, compound components, chemical temperature and more as according to testing

· Observe company safety standards during laboratory testing

· Assist with developing new products as needed

THE DETAILS:

· Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, REQUIRED

· Temp to Hire

· $25-$26/hr, Weekly Pay

· Monday – Friday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm
