Summary
Under general supervision with detailed instructions the individual will perform a variety of electromechanical assembly tasks. Electro-Mechanical Assemblers are responsible for building and assembling complex units such as power supplies, modules, chassis, panels, cable harnesses, and electronic systems and sub-assemblies.
Essential Functions
Build and assemble complex units such as power supply assemblies, modules, chassis, panels, cable and harnesses assemblies, and electronic systems and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, blueprints, specifications, work orders, or reports to determine assembly instructions.
Document all worked operations in the ERP system in an accurate and timely manner.
Clean parts using prescribed cleaning method
Perform quality control checks at specified points during the assembly process
Distribute materials, supplies, or subassemblies to work areas and perform housekeeping and cleanup duties upon completion of assigned task
Education, Experience, and Skills
Currently obtaining a degree in mechanical, electrical or any other related engineering field.
Must have sufficient English communication skills to understand verbal and written instructions, communicate with other employees both verbally and in writing, follow directions and task lists, and participate in departmental team meetings and required training classes
Basic computer skills including ability to work within ERP system
