Medasource Hiring for COVID-19 Tester at Tucson, AZ Full Time

Position: COVID-19 K-12 School Tester/Sample Collector

Location: Sells, AZ

Duration: 3+ month contract

Start: Aug. 1st, 2022

Essential Duties:

• Manages and performs the on-campus testing process for assigned school(s)
• Ensures student compliance with testing protocols and policies
• Serves as a resource to employees and students regarding general processes, and COVID related information
• Organizing and sanitizing space in preparation for collection and testing;
• Receiving and cataloging medical samples for testing, with attention to organizational systems and privacy and safety regulations;
• Administering sample collections
• Quality Control on samples collected, being responsible for proper sample collections by students, faculty and administration staff;
• Assist participants unable to provide samples on their own
• Assist staff in sample collections, when required
• Registering collection tubes in an online portal and recording names of pool participants
• Scan test tubes and pack up the test tubes containing specimens for Fedex, courier or any other shipping services for shipping samples to the laboratory for processing;
• Dispose of any used materials, clean up the testing area and notify the customer that testing has concluded;
• Reports to Program Manager
• Follows HIPAA requirements and student privacy laws; maintains strict confidentiality regarding personal and medical information.
• Remains current on best practices related to COVID prevention and management in an education setting.

Minimum Qualifications

· Must be a CNA, CMA, EMT, LPN, and/or RN

· Prior experience performing COVID-19 testing is a huge plus
