Position Title:  Speech Therapist
Employment Type: Full time
Hours per week: 38 hours per week
Position Grade: Speech Therapist / Pathologist, Level 1-3
Salary: $80,000.00 – $100,000.00 base per annum
Enterprise Agreement:  Health Professionals & Support Services Award 2020    
Department Name: Clinician – Ability Action Australia
 

We are seeking:

• SLP professionals who have worked within community, rehabilitation and/or pediatric sectors.
• Tertiary qualifications in Speech Therapy with at least 2 years working experience as a Speech and Language Therapist
• Valid Driver license.
• Eligible to apply for Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) Registration.
• Eligible to apply for an Australian work Visa
• Passionate about delivering Speech Pathology services to vulnerable members of the community.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

You will be putting your clinical skills to use as you make a difference in the lives of clients associated with our National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS).

 Responsibilities include:

• Manage an allocated caseload and complete therapeutic services
• Deliver speech pathology services to participants within schools, homes and the local community
• Use clinical observations, standardised assessments and interpret findings to formulate treatment goals
• Provide therapeutic interventions that are evidence-based to assist clients
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team
