We are looking for a Sr. Copywriter who can wield words, wisdom and wit as they cover everything from social content, web copy and newsletters to print, display advertising and streaming. We are looking for someone for the creation and design of social content for a multicultural work structure. Who would you be working with? One of the largest Spanish-language streaming services, with more than 50,000 hours of content across genres for users in the United States, Mexico and Latin America.

Key Responsibilities

• You’re confident leading different types of work spanning from digital and social campaigns to platforms and websites, hero films and TVCs, and installations.
• Handle large-scale requests along with single lines of copy.
• Use data-driven insights to help personalize content across the entire customer journey.
• Operate across teams and time zones on projects big and small.
• Meet with the creative team to create digital content ideas, strategies, productions or campaign development.
• Correctly adapt texts to different lengths depending on the need of the project by creating tone, voice, and written identity of the brand.
• Creative evocative content for social media, digital video, and brand presentations.
• Understanding social platforms and trends in real time for correct execution of new ideas.
• In short, your job is to ensure everything makes sense, is consistent, and meets the client’s objectives.
• Generate clear ideas and produce concepts and executions for traditional and non-traditional media, including 360 big campaigns ideas, innovation, digital & social media best practices.
• Ensure creative concepts delivered are consistent with approved creative briefs, as well as brand & product guidelines.
• Work with other creative Monks to brainstorm ideas and campaigns to win new projects.
• Develop and manage all creative executions, including; design and production across all platforms, incorporating consumer insights into the creative process, and ensuring messaging consistency across all vehicles.
• Take work from concept to final execution, ensuring deliverables are on time and on budget.
• Present completed ideas to clients/team members & participate in status calls as needed.
• Stay on top of trends and maintain best practices, particularly for digital & social media.
• Report progress of projects at major stages of their conception, creation, and execution.
• Ensure designs and content reflect consistency, and positivity, towards brand image and company ideals.
• Work with internal and external strategic partners to create products using the most current industry best practices.
• Anticipate problems and implement solutions to ensure project completion on tight deadlines.
• Use data-driven insights to help personalize content across the entire customer journey.
• Contribute to improving workflows, best practices, and client relationships across brands.

Background & Skills

• Specialized in creating digital content including, social content and display ads.
• We’re looking for a Spanish & English (almost native) copywriter with more than 4+ years of experience and a knack for working at an international level.
• Your writing is both clear and compelling.
• Your storytelling skills allow you to write video ads that leave an impression in as little as 6 seconds.
• You produce quality content out of thin air, as well as based on briefs or input written by others.
• You have a proven ability to tackle the same topic from a variety of angles, and can produce alts for internal reviews and A/B tests.
• You combine creativity with critical thinking. Your analytical approach means you ask the right questions, and make sense of complex content and marketing strategies.
• You’re comfortable and capable of presenting work to clients—always able to rationalize your choices and considerations to win people over with your words.
• As part of a constructive feedback loop, you can give and handle critique without making it or taking it personally.
• Your attention to detail is close to annoying: typos, inconsistencies, and questionable punctuation have little chance of getting past your radar.
• You’re comfortable jumping in and out at any stage of a project—from first ideas to final words—always delivering tight work, even under tight deadlines.
• You have a great sense of personal responsibility and eagerly go the extra mile to take things from good to great.
