JOB DESCRIPTION

MEDICAL RECORDS

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Receive incoming Medical Records and scan into corresponding patient file in office management system
  • Follow-up with doctors office on incomplete prescriptions
  • Confirm physician NPI to ensure timely delivery of requested product prescription
  • Manually fax prescription if physicians office does not accept electronic fax
  • Contact patient in the case we’re unable to get a response from doctors office
  • Mail product prescription to patient/doctor upon request
  • Answer incoming calls
