An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and self-motivated Caseworker to join our 3 Ships programme within our Lifestyle and Work team in the Kingston area of Greater London.
The 3 Ships are Mencap’s education based programmes for supporting people with a learning disability to move closer to the job market and gain employment. The 3 Ships are Supported Internships, Traineeships and Apprenticeships.

The Caseworker role is central to the delivery of these programmes; maintaining a caseload of learners, and giving end to end individualised support. The Caseworker role will need to be able to work collaboratively with Tutors and employers. This is to support individuals to complete all elements of the programme in line with requirements.
The successful candidate will be accountable for learner progression in the workplace. You will deliver support in various ways; 1-1 job training, working with learners to develop employability skills and embed English and Maths in delivery. There will be elements of pastoral support.

Key skills and requirements for a Caseworker (essential):
All candidates offered an interview for this role will need to provide evidence of their GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at interview stage.
