Job Description
Reporting to the National Business Operations Partner for Oncology, the Integrated Business Planner will be a critical member for centralized business planning in support of the US Oncology Commercial Operations Organization, including both field sales and key account management teams.
The incumbent will provide the planning support for sales leadership to help achieve business, customer, and people goals. The Integrated Business Planner executes the decision analysis & strategic planning support within the purview of the leaders to facilitate resource optimization and trade-off decisions across all customers and customer segments. The Integrated Business Planner will also lead the business planning and resource allocation for the product portfolio and work to identify business opportunities at the national, regional or local level for the product portfolio. The incumbent will collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders and manage the complexity across headquarter functions to facilitate a seamless operational experience for both field sales and account management teams, including collaboration with brand marketing leads to inform strategy and monitor execution.
Under the leadership of the Planning Team Leader, the incumbent will participate in the department’s evolution to align with US Market and brand priorities. This includes an acceleration of planning / analytic capabilities anchored in advanced analytics and optimized standard reporting via appropriate implementation of tools, techniques and approaches. The Integrated Business Planner will demonstrate close collaboration with other Integrated Business Planners and US Operations peer functions to ensure an integrated approach across the Sales Force Planning organization. In addition, the Integrated Business Planner will work collaboratively across Oncology and related marketing functions to identify and understand reporting requirements and create pre-built views as needed to support Senior Sales Leadership.
Primary Activities & Responsibilities:
Oncology Launch preparedness for the field sales team.
Leads the business planning processes for the product portfolio.
Provides overall decision analysis and strategic planning support to assist resource allocation decisions and customer management strategies in the attainment of performance and customer objectives.
Analyzes and supports decisions regarding the deployment of headcount (human resources) across customers to address customer needs and optimize profitability.
Coordinate, as appropriate, these activities with headquarters and field areas including, Marketing Teams, Integrated Account Management team, Data Strategies, Human Resources, Customer Sales Teams, and other related areas. The business planner is the conduit between many HQ functional groups and the sales leader.
Identify performance outliers across segments to provide action-based recommendations to increase sales and market share across the strategic brands.
Lead relevant special projects (e.g. restructure, sales team integration, Business Planning Training Initiative, etc.)

Required Education, Experience, and Skills:
High school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience which could include: professional sales, experience in marketing, military, or healthcare/scientific field (pharmaceutical, biotech, or medical devices)
Minimum 2 years field sales or related HQ experience
Strong business acumen, project management, communication and teamwork skills
Consultative and creative approach to strategic thinking, business analysis and problem-solving
Ability to work effectively in a dynamic working environment.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills
Ability to Influence Sales Leaders

U.S. Hybrid Work Model
Effective September 5, 2023, employees in office-based positions in the U.S. will be working a Hybrid work consisting of three total days on-site per week, generally Tuesday, Wednesday and either Monday or Thursday, although the specific days may vary by site or organization, with Friday designated as a remote-working day, unless business critical tasks require an on-site presence. Final determinations with respect to salary will take into account a number of factors, which may include, but not be limited to the primary work location and the chosen candidate’s relevant skills, experience, and education.
Expected salary range:
$107,600.00 – $169,400.00
