Mercury Looking for Customer Engagement Consultant – Work from Home at Pokeno, Waikato Full Time

In this role you’ll take inbound calls, respond to emails, live chat and social media, and assist our customers with their wide ranging queries.

Electricity is one of many costs consumers are juggling, and holistic solutions are key to effecting meaningful change.

We have opportunities for At Home based team mates, as you live outside of the Auckland and Hamilton metropolitan area. You will be required to come to our Newmarket or Hamilton based office for one day a month, so ideally you live 90 to 120 minutes drive away. The first 3 weeks of working for Mercury will be onsite in Auckland or Hamilton for our onsite induction training.

We are currently recruiting the following full time positions, 40 hours per week, rostered between 8am and 8pm (8 hours per day):

• Tuesday to Saturday (Saturday 8:30am – 5pm)
• Sunday to Thursday (Sunday 8:30am – 5pm)

About you:

• Experience in work from home customer service roles
• Embrace change and excited about technology
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, which will be assessed in your application
• Tech savvy with the ability to quickly navigate across different software platforms
• Ability to make complex conversations easy to understand
• Resilient and an innate ability to just get on with it
• Genuine motivation to work in a phone based environment

Since these positions are home based you will have to meet our home working requirements for your dedicated workspace and have fast fibre speed.
