In this role: The Quality Inspector is responsible for implementing quality control objectives and plans. The candidate will perform packaging line and manufacturing product inspections and/or audits. Ensures raw materials, in-process and finished products meet company standards. You are responsible for: * Perform inspection and reporting of incoming, in-process, final, and outgoing product/sub assemblies to configuration and requirements as specified in documentation * Perform consignment kit audits * Sort and report rejected material specified in purge request * Enter inspection and audit information into required database * Maintain records using PC and mainframe terminals to access * File incoming component device history records * Conduct inspections at First Article, in-process, in-coming and completes the final inspections * Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned * Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience: * High School diploma or equivalent * Minimum 3-5 years of experience with solder, chip and wire inspection * Strong mechanical measurement experience * Well organized, detail oriented, conscientious about work quality * Work well under pressure with the ability to meet deadlines * Ability to multi-task and prioritize Strong time management skills * Professional and efficient with internal and external customers * Good written & verbal communication skills * Team Player * Problem solving skills * Preferred certification in IPC-610 and J-STD-001 * Familiar with Mil-Std 883 * Security clearance preferred Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $36,000 – $48,000 for a Int Specialist at Oxnard CA USA Building 400-73383. The disclosed salary range is a general guideline for Mercury team members employed at the job level at the location listed above and does not include overtime for eligible hourly employees. Mercury considers a variety of factors to determine individual base salary offers to candidates, including: * the role and related responsibilities * prior work experience * education, training, skills and certifications * internal equity with others employed by Mercury in similar roles * geographic location; and * alignment with market data.
