Te tūranga | The role

Kei te rapu mātou i tētahi tangata ngākau mahana, tangata pūkenga, tangata matatau ki te hangarau hei Kaiwhakautu Tāngata mō tō mātou Pae Manuhiri.

We’re looking for a warm-hearted, tech-savvy individual to join our team as a receptionist. This role is all about manaakitanga, connecting with people, and ensuring that everyone who visits Mercy Hospice feels supported and valued.

As the first point of contact for patients, whānau, manuhiri (visitors), and kaimahi (staff), you will play a crucial role in upholding our values by creating a welcoming environment where everyone feels supported, respected, and cared for.

As The Face Of Mercy Hospice, You Will

• Welcome patients, whānau, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism.
• Provide outstanding customer service while managing reception tasks, phone calls, and inquiries.
• Keep things running smoothly by supporting various departments.
• Assist with technology systems, data entry, and administrative tasks to ensure efficiency.

Friday – 3pm to 10pm

Saturday 8am – 3pm

Sunday 8am – 3pm

Monday 3pm to 10pm

Tuesday 7am to 3:30pm

Total 36 hours per week.
