Summary:
We’re looking for a Learning Program Manager to join our Learning team within Mission Control. Mission Control is the organization responsible for end-to-end workforce planning and execution for all technical departments at Meta (ex. Facebook, Instagram, Infrastructure). This includes the management of our onboarding, extended onboarding, and continued education programs (ex. Engineering Bootcamp, Analytics Camp, Performance Academy) which are designed to help technical talent launch and thrive. In this role, you will manage the learning strategy and experience of our extended onboarding programs designed for Software Engineers and Production Engineers. You will collaborate with peers, Learning Experience Designers, partners, and stakeholders as you direct and manage projects that result in improved program content, effectiveness, and satisfaction ratings. We’re looking for someone to help us take our existing programs to the next level and build new programs in the future. Required Skills:
Define and execute learning experience strategies and roadmap for existing and future extended onboarding programs (ex. SWE Essentials)
Direct the development of new and updated learning experiences (ex. live classes, videos, online courses, hands-on activities) in close partnership with Learning Experience Designers and subject matter experts
Partner with engineering leaders and peers to frequently evaluate program learning objectives and outcomes
Build an influential network of employees who are willing to volunteer their time to help us build and continuously improve our programs
Define KPIs, set targets, and build a plan that gets us to meet and exceed those targets
Evaluate feedback and usage data to understand the performance of our learning programs and prioritize improvements that lead to a better experience for future learners (ex. update learning materials, retire learning objects)
Conduct a recurring content audit to ensure learning materials stay up-to-date
Share frequent progress updates with our team, partners, and stakeholders
Be the go-to for answers to questions about the program(s) you oversee
Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced ambiguous environment while delivering work on time
Travel occasionally within the United States and possibly internationally
Minimum Qualifications:
BA or BS degree
5+ years experience in program or project management
3+ years of experience developing, implementing, and continuously improving online and in-person learning experiences
Experience implementing adult learning design best practices
Experience identifying problems and implementing thoughtful solutions
Experience using data to understand trends and guide decisions
Experience developing influential relationships with technical and non-technical people
Experience using standard publishing tools (ex. G Suite, Office 365)
Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously and working autonomously
Experience gaining buy-in from others and leading through change
Experience communicating effectively in both verbal and written communication
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using the latest development tools (ex. Articulate 360, Vyond, Camtasia)
Experience using the back-end of learning management systems (ex. Cornerstone)
Experience managing the development and improvement of learning programs
Experience developing or overseeing the development of technical training materials
Experience working in and/or supporting a tech organization
Experience overseeing complex change management
