Summary:
The Creative Department is a team at Meta that works closely with Communications and cross functional partners to help craft campaigns, as well as develop content for internal and external events.
We recently introduced Watch, a new platform for shows on Facebook. Watch is available on mobile, web, and in our TV apps. Shows are made up of episodes, live or recorded, and cover a wide range of content, from reality to comedy to live sports.
The Creative Department seeks an experienced Post Producer to work with Designers, Creative Directors, cross functional partners and a host of others to help manage the internal post production resources as well as help shepherd external post partners.
The ideal individual for this role is a multi-faceted and innovative problem-solver that has an eye for great creative work, talent, and the ability to deliver and launch initiatives on time, on budget, and on strategy. The successful candidate should have strong, focused experience in post-production, specifically editorial and finishing. Additionally, the Post Producer must be a clear communicator, a team player, and proven ability to inspire and motivate the team to deliver world-class creative work.
This person is a cross-functional manager able to work in a fast-paced, often ambiguous, start-up environment. They are a manager with organization and people skills and the ability to set priorities, problem-solve, and multi-task.
Required Skills:
Work closely with creative teams to bid, award and execute best in class work.
Lead status calls, identify primary project goals and design a plan for successful execution.
Keen understanding of CG & 2D workflows.
Ability to work under tight turnaround times.
Work closely with cross functional partners to secure alignment and reach initiative goals.
Deliver mixed deliverable assets including on platform/social media formats including stills, animation and live action video.
Push on innovation within formats to create breakthrough and memorable creative work.
Set project schedules, and manage calendars for highly specialized creative workers, including both internal creative teams and/or external partners.
Negotiate and manage project statements of work, estimates and related parameters.
Manage external vendor relationships (illustrators, photographers, design firms, post-production companies, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications:
5+ years of AV Post Production & Servicing experience, with an emphasis on short form content at scale, creative & operational workflows, finishing, and localization.
Experience managing high volume global creative campaigns in parallel, collaborating with diverse geographically-dispersed teams to deliver offline and digital video marketing materials.
Understanding of the latest AV software, formats and tooling advancements, including 4K, and 360 video.
Advanced fluency in AV types and formats while understanding the fundamentals of assets management, servicing and trafficking.
Proficient in Localization workflows, including graphic packages, & online streamed event preparation.
Experience managing a high volume of creative and campaign types in parallel, with diverse geographically dispersed teams.
Fluency in scalable trafficking including broadcast TV and online distribution.
Proven network of regional partners and vendors who can help scale efficiently and effectively.
