Summary:
Meta is seeking an individual to support the Facebook for Business & Commerce Monetization team, which is at the intersection of consumers and advertisers. This role focuses on developing and scaling native monetization experiences unique to the Facebook App. This position will be responsible for helping to shape product roadmaps and drive go-to-market strategy to bring innovative advertising experiences to market. The ideal candidate is both data-driven and has the ability to synthesize market trends in the digital and mobile advertising market and related business models and can work effectively with colleagues across the company to drive results. This role is focused on both the inbound phase of product marketing as well as the initial phases of outbound product marketing. Inbound product marketing responsibilities include foundational analysis to identify market needs by segment, opportunity sizing, identifying unmet needs via discussions with internal and external stakeholders, serving as representation of the advertiser and running alpha and beta testing processes. Outbound product marketing responsibilities include leading launch planning and associated messaging and positioning.This role is highly cross-functional and will work closely with the Product, Engineering, Data Science, Sales, Research, Communications and Marketing teams across Facebook and Instagram.

Drive product strategy bridging short-term execution and long-term vision
Identify opportunities and represent view of the market by conducting industry research, including deep quantitative, qualitative and competitive analysis
Analyze product performance, synthesize customer feedback and advocate improvements
Lead and coordinate go-to-market efforts globally to support product launches and scaled adoption
Manage comprehensive, cross-functional activities including alphas, betas, positioning, policy and product documentation
Partner with Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Communications and other key teams

3+ years experience including experience working in a product marketing, product management, media/tech management consulting, or product strategy equivalent function (partnered with product management and/or engineering to represent market requirements)
BA/BS degree

Quantitative analytical experience and communication skills
Digital advertising experience including understanding of digital advertising models both in the U.S. and globally

Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders in an entrepreneurial, high-expectation environment
