Job Description

Metals USA – Wooster, OH, has an opening for an Accounting Clerk. The Accounting Clerk under general supervision, performs routine duties of limited scope. Duties may include matching payments to accounts receivables, preparing bank deposits, routine calculations, checking items on invoices and purchase orders, posting data to designated accounts, filing and data entry. May perform basic payroll duties such as data entry, auditing and maintaining payroll and time records to ensure accurate computation of pay, deductions and other withholdings. Duties require competency in basic math but no previous experience. Most duties are clearly defined and require limited discretion, independent judgment, and ingenuity.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Minimum 2 years Accounting Clerk experience
• Must have intermediate computer skills
• Experience creating and maintaining an Access database system
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Software
• Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team
