Missions And Responsibilities
Your mission is 100% dedicated to continuous improvement, transformation and currency exchange in order to strengthen ArianeGroup’s performance.
You will accompany the transformation of the company in accordance with its strategy and in particular the development of ArianeGroup towards operational excellence through the culture of continuous improvement, based on the principles of LEAN and agility, and Leadership Model .
In This Context, Your Main Activities Will Be To
Manage (minimum 50% of the activity) cross-functional and/or local improvement projects in the sectors, in line with ArianeGroup’s strategy, with the objective of improving operational performance, using the most relevant methods you have learned,
Support improvement projects by providing methodoligic support to the pilot and the project team
Coach the Green Belts (supervise their project, develop their methodological and leadership skills to lead them to certification),
Deliver White Belt and Lean Manager Belt training, help create new training and update existing training
Lead change management at the level of both employees and managers,
Develop the mindset of continuous improvement, challenge and identify areas for improvement on the shopfloor,
Proactively participate in the Belts network
Contribute to the Participative Initiatives process by supporting the process including the collection of initiatives
Support managers and their teams in their mission to drive continuous improvement: support for the implementation/ improvement of performance routines and improvement plan
Lead / contribute to the definition and implementation of standards (operational excellence and/or ArianeGroup toolkit)
Occasionally lead problem resolutions
The assignment may be completed on a case-by-case basis depending on ArianeGroup’s improvement policy and/or the scope concerned.
Some Concrete Examples Of Black Belt Activities
Lead a project to reduce the number, and lead time of anomaly treatment for mechanical parts with surface treatment or to improve the training attendance rate
At the request of a manager, deploy operational excellence by leading a 5S working group or by deploying/improving a performance management routine such as QRQC or LPM
Support a management, a centre in the implementation of its improvement plan based on company guidelines, performance analysis and the needs of teams
Update the white belt training support (1st level of training in improvement) by leading a working group bringing together Black Belts from all AG sites and allowing to share their feedback
Support change management with the deployment of a new ERP at all sites and with all relevant departments
Your activities will interface mainly with the program and production departments (JZIA) or the engineering teams and support functions (HR, Facility Management, Purchasing, Finance,…) (JZIB), trans-sites or multi-organisation multi-country.
