About The Role

Are you Registered Nurse looking to join at fabulous and energetic team working in a stunning retirement village? We are seeking a passionate RN to provide first class care services to our residents at Karori Village in Wellington. This role is a permanent, full-time position, working across rostered shifts.

Karori village offers Resthome, hospital and dementia level care and is in walking distance of shops, cafes and large reserves. We offer top hourly rates and allowances, plus a retention bonus and great staff benefits such as paid ‘wellness’ days and your birthday off, as well as an amazing team to work in! Some Of The Great Things You Will Be Doing

• Clinical assessment, planning and implementation of nursing care
• Effective communication and clinical problem-solving skills
• Work collaboratively with other team members
• Develop and review care plans in consultation with our residents and their families
• Provide compassionate and high-level care

About You

You pride yourself on delivering an outstanding service to our residents and have empathy for the older person. You also have:

• Current Practicing Certificate
• Strong nursing experience, aged care – even better!
• InterRai trained is desirable
• Up to date knowledge of wound care management
• Demonstrate excellent leadership and communication skills
• You are also a team player with a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.
