Metrica Andina, a growing software development company, is seeking a Web Programmer to join their team. We are looking for a highly skilled individual who is passionate about creating user-friendly, functional websites and web applications. As a Web Programmer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web-based projects using a variety of programming languages and platforms. The ideal candidate will have excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code for web-based projects
• Collaborate with designers and project managers to develop project specifications
• Troubleshoot and debug issues that arise during the development process
• Test and deploy completed web projects
• Maintain and update existing web-based applications
• Ensure website security and performance by conducting regular maintenance
• Keep up-to-date with latest trends and best practices in web programming

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Proven work experience as a Web Programmer or similar role
• Expertise in one or more programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and PHP
• Knowledge of database management systems such as MySQL and MongoDB
• Familiarity with front-end frameworks such as React and Vue.js
• Ability to work with version control systems such as Git
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
