Invoice & AP Equipment Assistant
Atlanta/Doraville, GA
Full-Time Non-exempt
Hours: 7:00 am – 5:00 pm (M-F)
SUMMARY:
Metro Green’s Equipment Assistant position is responsible for accurately and efficiently maintaining the day-to-day clerical operations of Metro Green’s Mechanic Shop. Key tasks for this position include record-keeping of equipment services, invoices, parts-ordering, and receipts. This role requires a detailed-oriented individual to maintain focus in a high demand work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
· Must be punctual and dependable.
· Track, schedule, and record routine equipment maintenance and servicing.
· Work with lube mechanic on directing service intervals and scheduling workload.
· Schedule services with site supervisors for all equipment and fleet trucks
· Coordinate with third-party service providers.
· Manage daily receipts of transactions and ensures accurate recordkeeping of vendor invoices.
· Participate in any additional safety training programs.
· Act in accordance with all company policies and procedures.
· Follows and supports safety and OSHA regulations and requirements.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
· High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
· Must have efficient typing speed and accuracy.
· Mechanical knowledge is a bonus.
· Excellent organizational skills and a positive and professional demeanor.
· Ability to problem-solve and to work independently.
· Attentive and results-oriented with outstanding relationship management skills.
· Possess basic mathematics aptitude to count and troubleshoot.
· Adheres to work schedule, completes assigned duties in an efficient manner and follows company’s safety standards.
· Experience in clerical functions preferred.

With multiple locations in Georgia, we process the debris resulting from construction, renovation, repair and demolition of commercial buildings, houses, roads, bridges, and other structures. We accept construction demolition debris and materials such as concrete, rock, wood, cardboard, drywall, metal, and carpet.
