DESCRIPTION
Michels Canada is looking for a Camp Coordinator who who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We are searching for someone who is organized, efficient, and has a high attention to detail. The Camp Coordinator will be responsible for organizing all camp related activities, including accommodations and check in and out times. This position will be based on site in Burns Lake, BC.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain and promote a strong safety culture for all employees, vendors, and customers and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
Coordinate camp bookings for employees and contractors.
Generate daily camp occupancy and weekly camp status reports for project management.
Communicate with all levels of management, including clients, employees, contractors and vendors.
Provide general information on camp accommodations and answer general inquiries.
Carry out a wide range of diverse, sensitive, and administrative duties within the department.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of 3 years of related experience in a similar role.
Must possess a valid drivers license for the types of vehicles which may be driven and an acceptable driving record.

Demonstrates the ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion.
Employs problem-solving skills and analysis.
Strong customer service orientation.
Adapt quickly to changes in conditions and deliverables.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Administration. An equivalent combination of training and experience will be considered.
LANGUAGES
Must be able to communicate verbally and through written language (by hand and digitally) in English.
PROJECT DETAILS
Location: Burns Lake, BC
Duration: Until construction is completed, which is anticipated to be March 2023
Shift: Monday to Saturday (Sundays off), 12 hours per day
Hours of Work: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Accommodations: Camp accommodations will be provided
