About The Opportunity
Our Alastri team, based at Micromine HQ in the Perth CBD, are currently seeking a Software Developer to join them. In this role you will work on a range of project to develop and deliver our Alastri suite of software products.
Alastri is an open pit mine planning software that is fast, visually stunning, user friendly, and able to model the complex open pit mines of tomorrow.
Reporting directly to the Senior Test Analyst, your key responsibilities will include:

• Interpreting functional requirements and enhancing Alastri’s software design.
• Developing efficient data processing algorithms.
• Developing quality and maintainable code in C#.
• Developing user friendly software that’s localisable and user friendly.
• Documenting implementation and deployment details.
• Helping support clients as required.

About You
You will have a background in commercial software development, including experience developing desktop applications using C# or C++.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:

• A tertiary qualification in Computer Science, or alternatively, relevant industry experience.
• Whilst not essential, exposure to UX or Graphics programming / OpenGL, will be viewed favourably.
