We’re looking for a highly creative writer to join us. On the Content Intelligence team, we author UX content, help design intelligence-driven experiences, and craft guidance to help share our insights and processes. We strive to create empathetic, ethical, and effective experiences that are in harmony with the goals of Inclusive Design and Responsible AI. Alongside collaborating on inclusivity-focused projects with the rest of the team, this role will initially focus on features that help people hone their writing to be as clear, effective, and inclusive as possible. Opportunities to collaborate on other projects will arise over time. Your words will help customers learn, solve problems, and get the most out of their products and features. You will build strong partnerships across Design, Engineering, Support, and Marketing. You’ll look for ways to gather and use data to understand how to improve products and content to help customers have fulfilling and successful experiences. You’ll have a window into the future and a chance to shape how that future impacts millions of customers around the globe.

Responsibilities
- Write and edit friendly, brilliantly clear UI text
- Collaborate on authoring for features that emphasize inclusivity and equity
- Design and write content in-product and that helps customers achieve great things
- Develop principled articulation to help guide design and development
- Use multiple sources of customer data to inform content strategy as well as day-to-day optimizations
- Understand and evangelize our content model, content types, and brand voice
- Identify opportunities for content additions, improvements, and innovations and effectively pitch those ideas to the team, to partners, and to stakeholders
- Perform functional and editorial quality assurance on content as appropriate
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience writing for purposes such as UX, instructional insights, conversational design, storytelling (e.g., creative fiction, playwriting, screenwriting, journalism, museum design, and so on)
- Aptitude with the mechanics of grammar, syntax, and methods of effective written communication
- Track record of delivering creative experiences on tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Portfolio of writing samples

- Experience, training, or exposure to Design Thinking methodology and Inclusive Design
- Enthusiasm for customer research
- Professional, volunteer, or personal experience with a group or organization made up of individuals who join together based on background, experiences, or demographic factors related to gender, race, ethnicity, or other identity groups
- Experience with diversity, equity & inclusion, AI & ethics, responsible technology, ethical design, or other relevant areas of focus
- Flexible, versatile writing experience across form factors, subject matter, and audiences
- Experience with instructional video, graphics, and visuals
- Creative collaboration and problem-solving skills
