Medical front desk receptionist is needed. This is a small one doctor subspecialty practice with low patient volume. Responsibilities include insurance verification, answering phones, taking copays, maintaining schedule. Billing knowledge is a plus.

Skills: Work experience as medical front desk assistant for at least 1 year

Insurance verification electronically and by phone

Answering phones

Taking patient responsibilities

Explaining insurance benefits to the patients

Posting bills

EMR experience (EPIC is a plus)

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 – $25.00 per hour
