Head Chef.

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Head Chef, who is passionate about cooking and creating the ultimate food experience.

About the Role:

An opportunity for someone to make their mark as Head Chef and create their own team and move the café in a new direction with the ability to manage and lead the kitchen team with a hands on roll in creating a dining experience.

You will be responsible for:  

• Preparing and cooking a wide range of dishes to a consistently high standard
• Continuous menu development and function planning
• Creating garden to plate menus
• Creating a diverse range of Cabinet food
• Leading the kitchen team
• Training and passing skills onto others
• Managing food and labour costs
• Ordering
• Monthly Stock takes
• Achieving all safety, hygiene and food quality targets set by Miko.
• Being involved in the growing process of the edible garden-garden to table experience

Skills and Experience

• To hit the ground running you will demonstrate: energy, passion and a flair for creating new dishes
• Proven ability to deliver quality café food in an idyllic setting
