With a focus on delivering a seamless and luxurious online shopping experience, we are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Developer to oversee our Shopify Plus platform, and enhance our aesthetics as well as functionality and overall user experience.

Role Overview:

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our Shopify Plus website. This role will play a critical role in enhancing website aesthetics and functionality, creating a strong user experience, elevating the brand, maximizing conversions, and driving sales. You will collaborate cross-functionally with social media manager, graphic designer, and agency/other personnel to ensure a flawless customer journey and maintain a high-performing e-commerce platform.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create responsive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance the shopping experience.
• Develop, test, and maintain both front-end and back-end code for web applications to improve functionality and boost conversions.
• Update themes as needed, and ensure code quality through code reviews and unit testing.
• Identify and implement opportunities for navigation and usability enhancements.
• Manage and optimize product listings, pricing, and inventory and conduct regular audits to ensure accurate content, and consistent, appealing imagery.
• Evaluate current applications and recommend changes to optimize user experience and drive increased revenue.
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise.
• Monitor and report on website performance including heat maps, traffic attribution, and analysis of other tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, other) to track website performance and user interactions and conduct A/B testing to continuously optimize website.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
• Part Time or Full Time (20-40 hours/week). Must be on site at least 2-3 days/week, and 5 days/week during introductory period (if full time).

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in Shopify Plus web development, both front-end and back-end, including customization, enhancements, and maintenance.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and experience with content management systems (CMS).
• Familiarity with UX design principles and techniques.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Experience with A/B testing and conversion rate optimization (CRO) techniques is a plus.
• Proficiency with analytics tools (Google Analytics, Shopify Analytics, Heat Mapping, Attribution Models, with the ability to develop and implement actionable insights.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Strong understanding of SEO best practices and tools (e.g., Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs) highly preferred
• Experience in beauty, fashion, or luxury industries is a plus.
