Position Summary:Provide Engineering drawings and calculations required for the construction of BridgesEssential Functions: Draft complete sets of falsework drawings which include formwork and work platform layouts.Analyze construction loads and design adequate shoring systems for a variety of materials and situations associated with bridge construction.Produce material load sheets based on falsework drawings.Work closely with the Engineering Manager, Project Managers, and Estimators to provide safe, economical, and efficient designs in a timely manner.Travel to job sites and participate in field work as a part of training.Inspect falsework and shoring for adequacy during construction.Submit amendments to permits for DNR, IDEM and Army Corp.Establish storm water quality control plans and best practices for projects.Design beam setting drawings to verify size, location and capacity of cranes needed to set beams.Establish safety components into drawings for removal of old structure as well as building of new structuresDay travel to job sites or other area offices will be requiredi
