Milestone IT is seeking a skilled Desktop Support Engineer to join a dynamic IT team for a large organisation in central Auckland. This role is perfect for someone with a passion for technology and a commitment to providing exceptional support in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support to end-users, both through ticketing systems and walk-in requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution.
• Assist in managing and maintaining physical networks, including routers and switches.
• Work passionately to enhance user experience and support initiatives.
• Document support interactions and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in a desktop support or very similar role.
• Familiarity with network components, including routers and switches.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively with users at all levels.
• Proficiency in using ticketing systems for tracking support requests.

• Immediate start.
• This is a 12-month ongoing initial contract role
