MillCorp Looking for Warehouse Assistant at Auckland City Full Time

About the Role

We are looking for a motivated, reliable and hard working Warehouse Assistant to join our dedicated and close knit team located in Mt Wellington.

You will be working in a fast paced environment under the guidance of the Warehouse Manager where you will be assisting with the day to day operations. You must have a good work ethic along with clear & effective communication skills. As the Warehouse Assistant you will not be afraid to get hands on with the product distribution & handling while also being able to work autonomously.

Key Responsibilities:

• Timely processing of incoming of product deliveries – stock checking and receipt on our system Pronto
• Unloading & appropriate placement of stock in the warehouse (some lifting will be involved), allocating/reallocating/converting stock
• Loading and unloading trucks for inbound and outbound deliveries
• Picking, packing and dispatching of daily orders for multiple business units
• Assisting with product returns and recalls
• Initiating and participating in regular stock take cycles
• Assist with maintaining warehouse equipment and cleanliness as well as being actively involved in keeping our workplace safe

Skills and Experience:

• Excellent attention to detail and can do attitude
• Experience using a fork lift/hoist would be an advantage
• Ability to work independently and part of a team
• Great communication skills
• Ability to work in a busy warehouse where heavy lifting is required
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment with RF Guns would be an advantage
