We work across MPI and with other agencies to support innovative farm land use practices that deliver more value and improved environmental outcomes. The Investment Programmes Directorate works across the value chain from the farm-gate through to finished products and we have supported a number of initiatives and research programmes in New Zealand using our suite of funding products.
Kōrero mō te Tūranga – About the role
We are looking for an experienced Programme and Investment Analyst to join the Investment Programmes Directorate on a fixed term contract to 30 June 2024. You will be working closely with the funding teams to ensure continued progress and efficient reporting and analysis is undertaken to demonstrate how we are meeting our investment goals.
Your ability to foster and maintain relationships with key staff within the Investment Programmes Directorate will be an important success criteria for this role. This includes the project manager, business case advisers, investment managers, principal advisers and the SFF Futures team managers.

Mō tō mātou rōpū – About our team
You will be working in the Business and Support team within the Investment Programmes Directorate. This team provides supporting services to the funding teams within the directorate and is key to ensuring consistent measures, templates and processes are utilised across the directorate as well as supporting funding rounds and other various funding activities. You will be a crucial part of the team by reporting and analysing the progress of SFF Futures meeting its appropriation spend requirements and understanding the funding processes.
