Tēnei tūranga – About the Role:
We are seeking a Data and BI Analyst to join our Performance and Reporting (P&R) team.
The P&R team within the Chief Operating Officer (COO) branch is accountable for the provision of timely information and insights to inform sound strategic and operational decision making at all levels across the immigration system. The P&R functions act as the single source of truth for all INZ official data queries. The team provides reporting and insights to key internal and external customers.
As a Data and BI Analyst, you will bring your understanding of data extraction, analysis and reporting to contribute to the success of the P&R team. You will support COO and other business units on Parliamentary Questions (PQs), Official Information Act requests (OIAs), media query responses, and essential reporting.
You will manage data projects and work collaboratively with other Analysts, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to provide accurate data products in agreed timeframes. It would be preferable if you have some forecasting, prescriptive analysis, and simulation experience.
