A Court Registry Officer is critical to the successful daily operation of the Courts.
This position sits within the criminal team at the Christchurch High Court registry. You will be responsible for ensuring that matters progress seamlessly through the court process and the overall case-management of criminal case files that come through the High Court. You will also be required to carry out court-taking duties including announcing the entry of the judges (in English and Te Reo Māori), calling cases, and assisting with administration of the court.

To be successful in this role you will have profound customer service coupled with excellent written and oral communication skills. With these strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to act with tact and discretion in dealing with internal and external stakeholders. Salary Range: The current appointing salary for this role will between $56,729 – $78,441 based on skills and experience.
