A Court Registry Officer is critical to the successful daily operation of the District Court and makes a positive difference in the lives of families in our communities.
This position sits within the Family Court team at the New Plymouth District Court and is responsible for ensuring that matters progress smoothly through the court process.
The role of a Court Registry Officer is like no other role, you have exposure to the way in which law is applied and have the privilege to be a part of that service. As a Court Registry Officer, your responsibilities involve court taking, case flow management, customer service and liaising with key stakeholders.

To be successful in the role in this role you will have experience in customer service, both in front line and written capacities. With these strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to act with tact and discretion. We are searching for someone who is looking to have time and training invested into them so that they may continue to pursue careers further within the Ministry of Justice.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
Salary Range: The current appointing salary for this role will be $52,729 and $74,441 based on skills and experience. From 1 June 2023, the salary for this role will be $56,729 and $78,441.
