A Court Registry Officer is critical to the successful daily operation of the District Court and makes a positive difference in the lives of families in our communities.
This position sits within the Criminal team and is responsible for ensuring that matters progress smoothly through the court process. You may be required to do court taking you may also be required to facilitate the smooth delivery of hearings, including announcing the entry of the judges (in English and Te Reo Māori), calling cases, and assisting with administration of the court.

To be successful in the role in this role you will have experience in customer service, both in front line and written capacities. With these strong interpersonal skills, you will be able to act with tact and discretion. We are searching for someone who is looking to have time and training invested into them so that they may continue to pursue careers further within the Ministry of Justice.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
Salary Range: The appointing salary for this role will be between $56,729 and $78,441 based on skills and experience.
