We have an opportunity for a Principal Advisor to join our small, specialist team. We look forward to learning from you as you share your deep understanding of the Justice sector and excellent report writing and problem-solving skills. Your main functions will be to provide strategic, analytical, and operational support, including leading and assisting with key projects and priorities. You will lead the development of proposals for new business initiatives and provide business advice to the Senior Courts Management Team.
You will have strong analytical skills, and be able to understand and interpret complex documents, including legislation, policy, financial, and business information. You will need well developed communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts and deliver detailed written information in plain language. Your proven ability to work cooperatively and build and maintain networks with a range of groups will be key to your success.

The Operations Support team supports the delivery of our national frontline services and focuses on the implementation of small and quick fix business and service improvement initiatives, including knowledge base updates, and establishing and maintaining appropriate and effective internal and external relationships. The team is also responsible for coordinating the preparation of management and ministerial briefings and official correspondence so machinery of government and operational policy experience would be an advantage.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for this role will be between $107,540 to $150,174 based on skills and experience.
