Te whiwhinga mahi/The Opportunity
Our Senior Policy Advisors are instrumental in leading complex projects and processes. Projects include legislative reform, regulatory policy, or stewardship, and contributing to whole-of-Government or whole-of-sector initiatives.
Senior Advisors maintain key relationships with internal and external stakeholders and have the opportunity to connect with the judiciary. They play a central role in ensuring the quality of advice across the policy group through participation on QA and RIA panels and mentoring less experienced advisers.
We have roles available in several teams. Successful candidates will be appointed to the Policy Group but can express a preference for a particular team.

Experience with the legislative process or a legal background would be an advantage but is not essential.

Utu ā-tau/Salary
The appointing salary for a Senior Policy Advisor is between $107,540 – $150,174, based on your skills and experience.
